Genealogy / Looking for an old friend, Krzysztof Koziołkiewicz [6]

Hello everyone
I would like your help if I may.
I live in beautiful San Diego, California, USA and on the Net I am simply known as Graehstone.
There was a time many years ago that I lived in Germany and had the greatest of fortunes to have made some fantastic friends from Poland while I was there.

It is one of these friends that I have lost contact with over the years that I wish to find again.
You see, I had a small Gasthaus in Aldersbach, Germany back in the late 80's, early 90's and many people from all over eastern Europe came during the “Gurken” season (cucumbers) to pick them.

I met many fine people and made even more finer memories during that time with them. But my fondest memories are of a man that had much the same interests as I and several other things in common as well.

Even though there was this language barrier … he spoke no German and I no Polish, but we both managed to communicate just fine with his broken English being what it was, so got along right away.

I was cleaning out some boxes the other day when I ran across some old pictures of that time and just sat a moment and cried, not out of sorrow mind you but rather out of melancholy for good times past.

I have unsuccessfully tried to find him using the conventional methods over the years (search engines, people finder, etc …) and am hoping that someone here might be in a position to help me with this.

His name is Krzycziof Koziotkiewicz (I hope I spelled that correctly) and from what I remember lives in or around a town called Budziwoj (again, I hope that’s correct) and was an art teacher.

I would dearly love to hear from him again as he was one of the very few people in my life that I felt a kinship to.

If this is inappropriate or unwanted or even considered rude (it’s happened before so ...) please know that I mean no offense to the forum and will understand if and when this post and my membership here is deleted.

Should someone however decide to at least try and help me find him, I want to thank you profusely in advance for your time and effort.

And should he truly be found and told of this here, he will know who it is that is looking for him.
May all of your days be filled with Health, Love and Happiness and your nights with Passion.

Dziękuję, Dziękuję, Dziękuję! (I hope that was right)
My goodness, what a day this has been.
I couldn't have asked for better and more concise information, and more importantly "correct," answers to my question had I tried.
I will try to get ahold of him and let you know what happens.
I truly can't thank you enough for this ... I really can't.

... still a little bit in shock ... now why didn't I think to come here first ... sigh, you live and you learn I guess, lol.

Thanks again!
