Life / Filling Prescriptions at the Pharmacy [5]

Is this a problem for foreigners? I went to the pharmacy with a prescription yesterday and was asked for my PESEL. I don't have a PESEL because I am here on a student visa, so my prescription was not filled.

Any experiences or suggestions?
