Life / What should be done to make life in Poland better and more enjoyable? [94]
I guess there are a lot of things that are not really enjoyable in poland, such as the roads, the change- issue and so on, but I guess one can life with that. On the other hand there are many things that I particularly enjoy here and I'm afraid that will vanish in the course of modernization, so my answer to the question what should be done to make life more enjoyable would be the following:
- make sure that there is a bar mleczny in every street
- stop immediatly renovating krakow to preserve its patina (guess thats true for any other city)
- preserve the rural charme of eastern poland with its red wood cottages, horse driven carriages and so on
- don't open any more banks in the inner cities, I guess there are quite enough already
- promote the sale of typical polish/ communist consumer goods that somehow still survive on the free market (krowki, sobieski cigarettes, obwarzanki, fiat maluch)
in addition to that, government should issue the "minimum- program for paradise" which is:
- one flower for every girl
- one pint of beer for every man
- ice cream for every child.
that should definitely resolve the smiling- issue :)
cheers
