is there a way just to suspend the company, or to keep it inactive without going through all these complications

Hi, yes it's possible. I did suspend my company for a while ago. You can do it for 2 years. Just contact your accountant. He/she would fix it for you and it costs nothing. You have to go to the registration office and sign some papers though. Good luck!
