Travel / Need suggestions for things to do in Wroclaw and Krakow - August [6]

Hi,

If anyone is familiar with Wroclaw or Krakow in August, could you suggest for me some family-based events, please ?

My parents, my brother and sister and their partners, are all heading over for a week in August. First time for all of them.

Now, the thing is the kids. One is 16, so he'll be ok. The others are 10, 9, and 7.

We are in Wroclaw for the 5th, 6th, and 7th of August.

We are in Krakow for the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th.

In particular I need to find something good in Krakow for the three youngest while the others go to Oswięcim.

But for everyone's sake we will mix the architecture and sightseeing with the more aquapark/funfair/zoo kind of activity.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks in advance !

Work / How are nurses graded in Poland and what is their typical salary? [14]

Hi Misty,

Hope you're having success with your inquiries. If you or anyone else here could answer me the following questions, I'd be very grateful.

1. The Nursing High School Diploma - is this the most common method of training nurses in Poland ? Is it common at all ?

2. Is the Nursing High School Diploma a recognised EU standard, that would allow the holder to register as a nurse in another EU country ?

3. Are there other routes to qualification ?

To compare with Ireland, where Nursing is now, I think, a four year degree course.

To anybody who can help with this query - dziekuje !
