Genealogy / Needing help establishing a man's pre-war existence [3]
I am attempting to gain dual citizenship (US and Poland) via the nationality of my father, now deceased. He was born in Germany of Polish parents but qualifies as Polish because he lived and worked in Poland from the mid 1930s until being taken to concentration camp. After the war he was nationalized as an American.
What I need to do is discover a school or work record for him. All I know though is that he lived in Chrzanow and Sosnewiec. Has anyone an idea of how to go about researching this question? Is it possible to obtain school attendance or work records for a young man living in these areas at the time?
Sincerely,
Jerry
