Genealogy / DNA test, me, and finding Patricia Welker [6]
I recently found out through a DNA test at Ancestry.com that I am Polish. I was raised in a Dutch home, so I do have a deep appreciation for foreign cultures. My mother's name in 1952 was Patricia Welker, she was 17 when she gave birth to me in Long Beach, California, although her hometown could be Buffulo , New York. I believe that she was familiar with the Polish community in Long Beach and possibly attended a Polish Catholic Church there. Also, I plan to visit Poland in June, so I am very anxious to find out about everything there is to know about Poland and it's beautiful people.
