Language / Affectionate endings to Polish girls' names.... [30]
Is there a way that these work?
I know a few Polish people and none of them seem to sure how you go about it.
i.e Basia can be Baska (not popular calling anyone that for some reason) or Basunia (seen the-unia bit used in other languages)
Did read something about putting -ka on the end on a name but it doesn't work with all names and what about names like Agnieszka? I know there's Aga or Aggy for that one but whether they're just abbreviations I'm not sure.
