Life / Polish Fairytales [25]

Merged: Polish folk tales/fairy tales/fables

Dzięn Dobry!

My first post, apart from my two others under the name ORP in the genealogy forum, so, welcome me....

I was wondering if any of you could enlightened me, by telling me your favourite Polish folk tales! I am very fascinated by this subject, and would love to learn more.

Also, if anybody has any links to websites with such texts, please PM those to me. My Polish is fairly limited, though working through some children's stories may be good practice.

Obviously a rye product, I was wondering if anybody knows anything about its history and also how it compares with its well-known sisters, Wyborowa and Extra Zytnia, two big favourites of mine.

Many thanks in advance and congratulations to all Poles for their wonderful tradition and skill in vodka-making!

I think I really show my roots in the second photo.

Thanks!

Edit: Oh, it didn't let me attach the second one.
