Study / Graduate school in Krakow - what to expect? [6]

I'm currently considering applying for graduate school in Krakow (the European Studies MA program in English at JagielloĊ„ian University). For several reasons... I study the European Union, I'm interested in the EU and the newer member states, I'm interested in Polish politics, I want to learn Polish, I'm of half-polish decent, and for the 5 hours I was able to spend in Krakow this past summer (spent most of the week I was in Poland in Warsaw... should have switched it around) I loved it... It's also about 65% the price of a similar graduate studies program here at my current university

So, can anybody give me some idea as to what to expect at the University there? Alumni etc? Graduate studies in Poland in general (I'm already apprehensive about applying to grad school anywhere... seems like a daunting task)

Appreciate any input =)

Aww, thanks! I feel encouraged already =)

But... has anybody conducted graduate studies in Poland??? I'd love input!

But I don't love Lech or Jaroslaw Kaczynski =(

Life / PAYING TO TAKE A PISS IN POLAND, it's BIZARRE [77]

Of course if you look, you can find a free toilet. When I was in Warsaw I had no problem with paying to use the toilets. As an American... the idea of a clean toilet in the middle of a large city... is amazing. Try using the public toilets in New York City and you'll know what I'm talking about. That said... it was something I had to get used to (I actually got yelled at by an old woman attendant... well not yelled at... but I had no idea what I did wrong at first).
