Equator is right on about the grooming difference. I think Polish guys are actually quite handsome and noble in appearance, some just uglify themselves when they shave their heads like a soccer hooligan and wear those adidias pants. If they got back in touch with their elegant roots, you could appreciate the attractive, refined masculinity underneath (that's way more than I can say about the blokes elsewhere *hint hint*). Also, I haven't noticed the baldness thing, but Poles are generally on the sparse end of body hair.

That being said, Polish women are stunning, and I think the trend to don the trashy post-commie look, when everything "western" was touted as awesome, is dying. The men are, I think, slowly catching up. Polish women do not have big butts as they have slim hips. The butts just aren't flat, they're 'plump'. One thing I've noticed though in the UK and US is that, in addition to being uninspiring, the women there are more likely to wear pijama-like clothing outside of the house, looking like they rolled out of bed. This was normal for me until I visited Poland, and came back. Also, I think Germans are *on the whole* unattractive.
