Food / Looking for Polish Sauerkraut soup... [7]
Hi everyone, I'm new here. I'm trying to come up with a recipe that is similar to my grandmother's Sauerkraut Soup (Kapusta). I hope someone can help me. I've been searching on the internet all night and cannot find anything similar. What I remember about it was that it was thick, there were no tomatoes in it, or prunes or apples or anything sweet - it was kind of salty. There were no mushrooms in it or ham or potatoes. She used pigs tails for meat. Does anybody know of a similar recipe? I want to try to recreate it for my mother's 80th birthday. Thanks in advance.
