I agree. I never heard of a Polish person not celebrating his or her birthday. Depending ont he family or the area you come from you may celebrate more a Name day, but you will still celebrate the Birth day as well. Name day is just another celebration.

I live in northwestern Nj and that church is probably the only thing. There is a Polish store in Philipsburgh, but it may be too far away for you. I know some Polish people living in Budd Lake. Polish people are everywhere and since there is a Polish church in Great Meadows, there must be many of them in that area. I moved here two years ago. I don't go to church, but the church would be a start to find other people...
