Love / I have met a wonderful Polish woman, but she has a 9 yrs old daughter [66]

True or false?

sory mate, to be honest i didn't read all the way through the posts, so i've missed yours, i read the original post and a few throughout. I really think it depends on how your mother/father introduces you to a new partner and on your age/maturety etc.

I'm not saying people who have this attitude that 'its just me and my mother and thats it' this simply means that they have not got over the fact that their parents are not longer together or that one of the other has passed away. There is nothing wrong with feeling the way you did or do, i just feel that over time the situation can improve

Thanks

T

yeah very well said, my father didn't pass away but him and my mother split up, at first i was very weary of 'new friends' or 'replacement dad/mum' HOwever with age comes maturety, so you eventually realise that your mother and father are not replacable, whetehr or not your mum and dad have a new partner or even if you loose either parent during your life, they are your 'mum & dad' nothing will ever change that.

As for your situation firestorm, i would let your lady friend make all the decisions about introductions, meetings etc etc, i think it could be handled really well if time is taken and a lot of thought given to the childs point of view. I think you will be find and even if the relationship with the ladies child dosen't start of well she will need time to get used to you and in the future it will improve.

I wish you all the best with your new 'lady friend'

cheers

Feedback / Received a vulgar email.. [9]

Dzhaklin you ******* polish stinks mother ****** **** you *****

i know it sounds patranising but just ignore him/her. Somebody who writes something like that to a person who they don't even know hasn't got a clue. They aren't even worth bothering with. THis sentence you have written above shows that they are a total scumbag.

You may feel like you've been picked on but i/we still love you :) ((((((HUG))))))))

hay Admin i know you probably don't think i'm your biggest fan and blame you for everything however in this case i can totally see where you are coming from. You are the admin of 'Polishforums.com' and not the personal e-mails of me or any other member of the forum. I'm sure you don't like or condone the actions of whoever e-mailed Dzahklin but it really is outside of your durastiction and control.

So please people don't give admin a hard time on this one as it really is not their fault.

thanks I just figured that out. I guess i was a little disappointed that members of this site would feel a need to send malicious things like that. I love polish forums and most of the people but i think receiving things like that is horrible.

unfortunately there are animals, misguided, evil and many other words which i will not type on a public forum floating about the internet and the world we live in. I'm sure its not nice recieving such e-mails but look on the brightside, you had Women's Day yesterday and i'm sure you recieved many pleasent friendly messages from some of the members of PF.

I hoe it does not make you leave the forums or not post again as i'm sure people will miss your points of view, contsructive posts and general input to the site.

Maybe poly (aka AAG) is the polish woman that wants to marry the muslim???

I wouldn't even bother worrying who it is, they aren't worth it, if they were as big and bad as they make out then they should come on take on some other people isntead of picking on a woman, which is one of the most disgusting things i think you can do as a male.

I haven't recieved any such mail from anybody and you have seen some of the points of view and posts i put up. Many people just look for people they see as week or easy pickings, its a disgrace and i'm sure these people wouldn't have the balls to do it face to face.

anyway Dzahklin you have good people on the Forum like Justysia here who have given you advice :)

and thats why many terrorist organizations are created for bieng persecuted for there religious beliefs .... neither are ok but a negative action creates a reaction..think about it

Answer to terrorism then, bin religion altogether, wipe it from the memories and minds of every person in the world, without religion there may be a chance for peace :):):)

wow you almost sound like a PIRA preacher, spreading your filth and blaiming the UK as usual, if you want things sorted out you should have tried politically before bringing innocent civi's into it with your nail bombs and pointless free for all shootings of school children.

With all due respect the IRA are-were Terrorists, there is no doubting that. It dosen't take a rocket scientist to recognise that and anybody who doubts that is either stupid or a sympathiser to the so called 'cause'.

History / Poland-Russia: never-ending story? [1341]

There is no chance of being able to have a decent relationship with a communist state if you are yourself a democracy, maybe on an individual basis polish and ruski can get on but the nations, i doubt it. To much water under a very small bridge, thats why its important to try and move on.

Sorry if it pisses you of but its just another point of view

Life / You know you're Polish when... ? [111]

Quote ¦ Report ¦ #83

your dad doesn't care what you do or what time you're home, as long as your mom said it was okay. if your dad calls you and proceeds to yell at you to come home, you only need to say "ale mama wie gdzie jestem i powiedziala ze moge zostac jeszcze dwie godziny..." and he promptly replies "oh. okay. have fun then," and hangs up.

lol would you care to take me through that with the english inserted please :) although it sounds a bit like my house but without the polish, lol.

UK, Ireland / Interesting documentary tonight about white Brits.... [9]

listen if people are entering the country illegally and are not meant to be here, then i couldn't give a dam what happens to them, its their show, they came here illegal if they get mistreated then they should have stayed at home. I know that wasn't your point and i'm sorry if i've made it look like that, your post just triggered something in me

History / Poland Betrayed in WW2 [243]

it just lightens the load by discussing it. I hope that gives you an insight on why these topics keep coming up

thanks for your very mature and well thought out response, of course i understand after your little insight why these topics keep popping up. I also hope you understand what i'm talking about, there is generation of Poles now who do not have to live with this hanging over their heads, yes its in their history but thats it. This most recent generation are the future of your country and these are the ones that should be concentrated on.

'Poland Betrayed in WW2'

just the sort of thing i hate to see on PF, this is a forum to promote and talk about Poland, yes, however all this we had this we were that they did this to us, come on lets move on and talk about a new poland a more positive poland that is full of fine educated people who are going to take your nation forward instead of living in the dank dreary past.

I've heard so many times, we suffered, people did this to poland and so on and so on and so on, The polish have a lot to be positive about from where i'm standing why do you need to keep rolling back the years to times of misery and bad memories, its almost like you enjoy doing it.

UK, Ireland / Polish mother and son jailed for life (POST THIS THREAD BY ITSELF) [32]

Is that to face charges or to serve time ?

serve time, we can charge them or they can be charged in their own country if possible i don't really care to be honest, however they can go and spend their jail time in their own country. I'm also happy for any British prisoners to be sent back to Blighty to serve there sentences too.

Or do you mean people with a criminal record ?

i mean these people too, one of the negative things about joining the lovely 'so called' EU is that people can pass freely without checks, these people should not be allowed into the UK if they have a string of criminal offences to their name and especially ones as serious as sex offenses or armed robbery or even major fraud

I only have problems with muslims who were unfortunatly born here too.

i hope i'm just reading this wrong, you mean 'muslim (Islamic) fundamentalists' and not 'muslims' as a whole right????

i already know what a lot of british feel about immigration but i'll be interested to see how the poles are viewed overall, i can tell you from my circle of friends that are not just populated in one area, generally the polish are accepted however are known negatively for a few of their mannorisms, shall we say.

As i say though its not all negative :)

Although Polish names can be beautiful, i'm more than happy with good old english/british names, no offense to Poland but where loosing some of our country and not having and davids, Johns and Terry's would be a nightmare :)
