Ah, believe me, nobody have been cared about Jews fate, Polish peasants took this as unexpected and miraculous escape. Moreove they arranged some sort of slaughter of pitiful remains of Jews who ventured to return in Poland after WWII. Let's not generalize all citizens of Polish state. It was in most part Jewish victims, not Polish in their origin.

I can please you, even the name "Russian" is adjective, contrary to almost all other nations' names. Just compare Pole (noun) and Russian (adjective). This means only one, that even Poles may be Russian. This is our strength!

I was in previous year in Istanbul. Really I do not know full truth about national characters of Turks, but their appiarance, though not always, is quite fascinating for inhabitant of the Nord. But may be there were assimilated Greeks....

Greek Cypriots call themselves Greeks or Cypriots and the Greeks of Greeks,Elladites which means residents of Greece.They do not call Greeks in Greece Hellenes(=Greeks) because this would imply that Cypriots are not Greeks since they call the other Greeks.

And what about Greeks Fanariots in Istambul and Princes Islands in Turkey? They are too Greeks despite Turkish citizenship...And Russian Greeks, Georgian, Greeks of Crimea?

One can argue about that but in my opinion nationality is defined by what it states in your passport not by language or religious beliefs

As I see, you are from Ireland. So what do you think about Nothern Ireland's inhabitants, suppose they have GB's citizenship, but in the same time they are Irish?

Exactly, Language is a primary tool which determines the culture and nationality...well it is the most powerfull feature, may be exept religion....

Well, I think it is rather different, this german woman stored bodies in home refrigirator under food during 20 years and her childrens never had noticed them...it may sounds quite oddly for you, but I know each corner of my home refrigerator...or they jus simply had no any need to use food, but this case is rather odd as well...

You are confused. This has nothing to do with nationality.

Not a bit....Russians in Russia and Russians in Estonia for example, are they Russians or not?

I'd say single cases. We have a similar story in France with a father killing his wife and kids... What a beautiful world... What if Louis Armstrong had lived on the 21st century ! ;)

I can say only one thing, that it is quait different forom Russian manner of murdering.
If Russian want to kill somebody he will never use such perverted methods, he will use a bench axe, hunting rifle or a stool at worst. All Russians are straightforward and simple minded...

Kostia, what's wrong with you? If things are so bad why don't you want to discuss Russian atrocity?

Surely, maniacs present in every nation (may be except Polish, because it is not in their character, they may be only victims), but all atrocities commited in germany (austria) characterized by some features which make this murders slightly "Gothic" or fine perverted. For exaple:

Russian maniac Chicatilo, he killed many people, raped them before their death. Well, but I can understand him or explain his action at least.

But I cant understand situation when some guys make the acquaintance by means of Internet, then one kills another and eats him by mutual consent. Sorry, but this situation is far beyond my understanding....it is not maniac's behavior, it is something another, something I cant express by words...

Sure it was internationalistic in comparisson with those minore despoties which formed after its collaps, such as georgia or turkmenia...all governments in soviet republics were consisted both frof russian and national members.

BTW, Novgorod never was independent state in the forms you think, it always had a feodic hommage for Russian tsar. And as soon as the head of Novgorod rep. had plotted against Ivan IV, it had been panished sufficiently. Lern Russian History! Sometime it will be very useful for you!

Very strange... but I always thought that it had been almost 15 years between death of Ioann IV and Polish invasion.....
