Life / What should Poland and Poles do, after first day of nuclear war? [133]

buhaha, +1 ;)

what buhaha?

Germans are germanized Serbs anyway. They should be re-Slavicized or to say re-Serbinized. But, especial problem is that after nuclear strike nobody wouldn`t give a sh** for German origin, nor for Germany.

And drinking vodka.

that`s the good one

Actually unless the server room would be hit or irradiated or cut power from yeah it would, all computers are proofed against EMP to a certain degree.

but, what about infrastructure in Poland? Transmision, signals, internet, etc?

How do you come up with ideas for threads, Crow?

Seriously, do they come to you in your dreams or visions,
or do you just sit at home in front of your TV and suddenly
get an idea for"What should you do on a first day of nuclear
war" ?

No malice intended in my question, I'm just curious.

if you survived NATO bombing, you would also have stronger imagination. With all those NATO airplanes above head, mind simple accelerate

Most likely most people will be vapourised at that point so speculation is a wee bit pointless.

you know that this isn`t the answer. You know, some and even many could survive innitial strike and even first day of nuclear conflict.... while there is life, there is hope.

Life / What should Poland and Poles do, after first day of nuclear war? [133]

Realy, what should Poles and official Poland do, after first day of eventual nuclear conflict between world powers? Let`s say, in this hipothetical situation, that Poland represent target for nuclear weapons of all kind... so, what you people of this forum say?

There are many possible situations- in case that Poland belong to NATO pact, in case that Poland isn`t part of NATO pact, in case that Poland represent part of eventual Slavic alliance, or we can imagine any other eventual situation,... whatever...

It is interesting to found out what should do Poles who in the moment of nuclear strike, aren`t at home in Poland but, in some other country... because of job, because of tourist traveling or what should do people who are of Polish origin and aren`t Polish citizens, permanently live in some other country?

What is with atomic shelters in Poland? Are those shelters safe?

After all, imagine all kind of possible situations which can happen to ordinary man/woman and explain your position.

Look mate, I have a lot of sympathy for Serbia and other Slavic countries but the
problem with any kind of Slavic union is that it would most likely be dominated by
Russia and I can't have that.

Russia to dominate over Serbians?? Believe me, its mission impossible. Russians are aware of it. Why you think that Russia hesistate to completely support Serbia? Well, Serbians don`t sell themselves

Not because I bear some serious grudge against Russia, far from it. Simply I believe
that there is an essential difference between Latin civilization Slavic countries
(Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia) and Byzantine civilization
Slavic countries (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Bulgaria).

you have prejudices

Serbians resisted to Byzantine dominaton in the region same way as they resited to Rome`s dictate

Very provacative.

my complete body is provocative, not to mention my mind

And we must forgive (not forget!) if we want to get on well on a daily basis

i concur

and build common future in the EU.

why common future? Why not cooperation out of EU? I am sure that there is better alternative for Slavs then EU

You think that there is no future without EU.... you probably point on destine of Yugoslavia and Serbians... if you aren`t with EU, then you even don`t have right to live?? Is that your point?

EU is maybe good for Turks and their friends but, Serbians don`t share such an entusiasm. I don`t know for Poles... Poles believe in EU??

he was truly a symbol of Slavija! everlasting battle against expansion into our ancestral home! i cross myself, and say, Zawisza, you were a damn good man.

yes, if there was a medieval Slavic nobleman, a knight, that believed in a mutual Slavic ancestry that was Zawisza. He lived that, he defended it, he died for it. Truly, togather with other Draconists (members of Dragon order), noblemans... Miloš Obilić (foundator of Order), Kosanèić Ivan, Toplica Milan, Serbian Prince Stefan Lazarević,...all togather to the famous Polish King Jan Sobieski (Grand Master of Order in his time),... Zawisza was among last Sarmatians.

Glory to Polish and Serbian nobility that defended honour of Sarmatia!

local Serbians in Golubac would tell you... that Zawisza was captured while still was alive, wounded but alive. Then, Turks strangled him and decapitated his head. Body was mutilated and cut to many little minces. Turks hated Zawisza a lot of

Serbia, castle of Golubac, banks of Danube river

memorial table to Zawisza Czarny in Serbia - text on the table says (translation from Serbian):

``In Golubac, his life was taken by the Turks in 1428, the famous Polish knight, the symbol of the courage and honor, Zawisza the Black. Glory to the hero!``

Today, many Serbian tourists coming to visit place where Zawisza Czarny died for freedom of Serbians and for liberation of Southern Sarmatia

momorial spring and table to Zawisza Czarny were damaged during NATO attack on Serbia in 1999 when happened that modern day Poland attacked Serbians in alliance with Turkey.

one example

The Battle of Varna (1444 AD)

Surrounded by thousands fanatic Islamic killers the young Polish king died in the battle. After the death of his King the Polish cavalry was disorganized and in turn smashed by Ottomans.

The fanatic assassin Kodza Hazâr cut off the king's head and sent it to his master - the sultan. The head of young king became a great attraction in the capital of Ottoman empire. Muslim women and children sang songs, danced and praised Allah at the sight of decapitated head of young Polish king.

As long as the threat from Iran persists

If the Iranian threat is eliminated

we will have a stronger basis for security...

My God, even birds on trees don`t believe in such a propaganda BS anymore

nonsenses, all nonsenses

Yugoslav concept was far better then USA or EU concepts. Oh, how THEY destroyed and devastated that vast Slavic land in crucial strategic region.

Um... how new?

in ancient time, biggest impact on European natives (read Proto Slavs/old Slavs) was made with penetration of newcomers- Egyptians, Arabians and other Semitic peoples on European soil on Mediteranian coast. That`s from where beggan retreat of natives and more later it turned into well known `drang nach osten`. Its ancient process

History / Ancient Polish History thread [180]

its obvious

Slavs are representatives of old European/Eurasian original native population or we can simple say `Go West, go to Slavija`. Or we should say, using older universal designation for Slavs that was primordial `Go West, go to Sarmatia`.

Many of today existing European (speaking of) nations are just result of collision of old Slavic with newcoming cultural/ethnic/racial/linguistic influences and elements on European soil

sure that definitions develop

that way already Prussians (just for example) who were originaly Slavic are today represented as originaly Germans

or take Slavic Brunabor that has become German Brandenburg, or we can talk about Berlin, etc, etc, etc, etc

citation (page 4):

``The Slav tribes of the lands between the Elbe and the Oder were as likely to be in conflict with their Polish/Sliesian/Czech neighbours of the east as with incomers from the west. It was only in the course of twelfth century that these marcherlands were effectively brought under the authority of the German rulers. Only in 1157 did Slav Brunabor become German Brandenburg. In 965, the knez, the prince of Polanie Mieszko I, twarted a troublesome alliance between the Christian Czechs and his pagan, Slav neighbours to the west by his marriage to Dobrava, daughter of Duke Boleslav I of Bohemia.``
