Life / WHAT ABOUT THANKSGIVING (ŚWIĘTO DZIĘKCZYNIENIA) IN POLAND? [52]

Thanksgiving is an American Holiday cant we just leave it at that, it was about the Pilgrims getting together with the Indians and being thankfull for a bountifull harvest, and the tradition carried on.

They have Polish independence day which they have just celebrated and they have plenty of other celebrations throughout the year, why take on an American one, Europeans have their own.

Exactly, there are American Poles that celebrate Polish Independence day and we even have parades, but its not a national holiday.

Have people forgotten Hitler

No... but he has nothing to do with Thanksgiving:)

USA, Canada / The 2nd Amendment (USA), the right to own guns [261]

Not easily. The civilian receiver is a much different design. It's not a simple matter of filing down the sear like in the movies. In addition to bolts, sears, selectors, stampings, and other parts being different in the lower receiver, the gas systems also have different settings. You would need to have your own machine shop, and be a highly qualified gunsmith,

If its that hard to modify, they sure made it sound like an epidemic when they were banning the assult rifles.
This was some time back if I remember correctly

in what respect.

I`m just messing with my northernly neighbors:)
Its it cold enough yet...your cold air has made its way down here, you can have it back now..dziekuje bardzo:)

You are spreading disinformation

I dont mean to do that, I was using the uzi as a example but some of these assult rifles like a Ar15 can me modified to become automatic.

If you live out in the country fine but here in a big city ?

USA, Canada / The 2nd Amendment (USA), the right to own guns [261]

I am merely suggesting a new way to protect children from getting hurt

Where there are children guns should be locked up in a safe at all time.
When I hear of these tragic accidents, I believe the parents should be held accountable.

If we ever have to turn all our guns in, Do you think the criminals will?
Having guns can be a detournement, a burglar has to think twice before breaking into sombodys home.

I dont see any need for these automatic weapons like uzi`s on the street.
Military yes, but not for the public
