and?? seeing as I ,a Briton, was the firsty person to mention the BFK (membership,65) I dont think there was much point in you posting nazi propaganda......

poles served the germans willingly so maybe it is hushed up a bit in poland, after all ,they dont exactly teach about the BFK in british schools.

we put 4 force against Nazists and we were so loyal for our alies that now it looks ...

sorry,dont speak gobbldegook,wtf ?

no,some were "germans" some were Poles. Just look at the recruits to the free Polish forces in the west, after normandy many came from german divisions,if they had been "germans" they would not have ended the war in Polish uniforms.

EDIT

yes,I noticed that dan, that dodgy list and my reply disapeared......being as the vanished posts were completly ON TOPIC what is the explanation?

UK, Ireland / Poles working in the UK should be getting more money from your employer! [62]

well, your both wrong(scarily no immi less so..),Pakistan didnt exist at that time,India had not been partitioned....
but,if you look into the history of the Italien campaign you will find more Indian troops than Polish troops, however, most of the Indian units served in the Far East...you know, that chunk of the war that no Polish units were involved in(part of the reason it gets old when people talk about "the Poles fought for Britain",if they did, where were they against the nippon empire?

did we hand out free passes to foreign nationals who served in the RAF or any other regiment in WWII? The answer is no.

er,the answer is actually yes.....with the diference that most of those given a "free pass" actually had counties to go back to where they wouldnt end up in prison or worse....

UK, Ireland / Polish people in UK travelling on holiday. [20]

good reason why the french have one up on us in that regards

here here. vive le france...

The answer is NO, and neither would you want them.

No,we dont, yet, something to do with not being a former communist dictatorship...Why would you still want them?

Have a look at one in your free time, and you might reconsider the British government's ID card scheme after all. Who knows?

Not a friggin chance,we had ID cards during the war,no photos as that was considered against British civil liberties ideals. There is only one reason they are being discused these days and thats due to the members of our labour govt all being ex stalin worshipers and pinko wannabe revoloutionaries ....

Not quite true, most of the general public are happy to have them, its only the dodgy people that dont want them.

speak for yourself,I have full civil service clearance and enhanced disclousers,I have nothing to hide and Im damm well against them,so are many many others who see this only as one more example of govt changing the rules, instead of govt fearing the people the people have to fear the govt....

Actually if flying with Aer Lingus flights to Ireland you dont need a passport, just photo id and that would be to Southern Ireland not just Northern Ireland.

Yes,but try getting to mainland europe without your passport shelley,or getting back from say france or holland without one.

Evidence please, and in what context did they find themselves in service?

The evidence is there for all to see if they choose to,even blindman G' admits as much.
BTW,this wasnt meant to be a p issing contest, except as usuall some clown pipes up with the normall guff about "no Poles served the germans" and then has the brass nerve to actually say, well, that No Poles is actually a hundred thousand.....I leave it to history to decide the "facts",frankly, relying on some shmuck like the dogman is about as reliable as listning to noimmigration on British history.....

Life / Is drinking water in Poland good? [96]

The tap water in Warsaw is perfectly acceptable as drinking water. Go and visit the filtration plant on Filtrowa and check it for yourself.

yes, very nice Im sure, only trouble is,once it leaves there,it travels through pipes that to this day are spurting out the odd nazi gas grenade from the uprising......

None of the Poles I know in Warsaw drink the tap water, not one, whether in old flats or new buildings they buy the large 8pint bottles of water, not even trusting the tap water for the kettle.
