Hello, my father says that in 1918 the winners of first world war wanted to give an island in the mediterranean sea to Poland, but poles refused.

I searched but I can't find anything about this, is there anyone who knows something more?

Did someone actually win the 1st World War?

There must be a few islands still going spare. Whose turn is it to make a claim on Rockall?

Greeks can reply to you. They have got thousands of small islands.

We thought there was oil in the islands. But, it is understood there is not.
So, we give up...

So, we give up...

With a little friendly encouragement...
Do Turks have any ambitions of repeating this process in the future?

Absolutely no. Of course, if we can use Aegean Sea friendly together with Greece.
