Wachadlo/Vonkhadlo

Hi all. I'm researching the Polish Wachadlo surname (with the hooked-a and barred-l), and it is rather rare. I'm determined to link all of the Wachadlo's. Now I see "Vankhadlo" and similar misspellings pointing to Belarus before WWII. I *think* these two surnames are vocalized just about the same, and that the Vonkhadlo's are worth tracing. What do you think? Does the "-dlo" or "-hadlo" ending have any meaning unto itself? If you happen across either of these surnames are a similar spelling, please let me know. I think there are some Wachadlo's living in or near Bialystok today, as I've seen soccer scores with this name. Are there any online Polish phone books? (I'm guessing no, but thought I'd ask anyway.)

Thanx!

Thingy = do-da, wotsit, thingymabob, do-gee-ma-flip.

Please forgive spelling.

I was trying to coy, but, really, I'd rather stick to genealogy.

My name is Robert Wachadlo. I live in Indiana. I am looking for the Wachadlo's Family Crest. Does anyone think they could help? Thanks
