My Grandfather was born on 14 November 1907 somewhere in Poland. I have tried numerous avenues to try and establish contact with our family. Is ther any person/website that I can try. He was called Leo.

Full names Leopold Edward Woityczka. The surname might not even be polish. Is anyone familiar with the surname.

Is anyone familiar with the surname.

JewishGen might be some help with the surname.

Read the Genealogy threads and you'll find loads of links.

Shipping records might show which city he came from.

Cyberleo,
Where did he live before he died, did he have brothers or sisters, was he married, how many children, belong to any church.... in other words, what else do you know about him?

What have you done so far to try to find him, so we can offer other suggestions.

Hi There,

He lived in South Africa In a town called Bloemfontein. He had brother Bruno. He was married, but my Grandmother did not keep any personal belongings except for a huge book full of sport certificates and old pictures. I went to the local Births and Deaths regisrty, but they had nothing for that timeperiod if you did not own property. I have logged queries like these on the internet and have letters.
