Looking for family of Maria Lochka Celinski. DOB 16 Nov. 1900 /Married 10 Feb. 1923. I believe Maria had one brother Yanek 2 or 3 sisters Hanka, Marinka and Zoshia/Sofia. I was told her family lived down in a valley from her home in Lewkowce near Pochiav. They lived in two houses next to each other. More recently I was told they moved to a city called Gorodok after 1940. My family tree on her side is all but empty and I can't seem to find them. Does anyone know if Lochka is Polish, White Russian, Ukrainian? I must find her family and fill in the missing pieces of my history? Thank you in advance for any suggestions or help. The names Hanka and Marinka definitely sound Ukrainian to me.

Lewkowce near Pochiav

Lewkowce near Poczajów. That's in western Ukraine. Before 1939 in Poland.

The names Hanka and Marinka definitely sound Ukrainian to me.

Hanka is short from Hanna - that's a Polish name. Marinka could be Ukrainian but that also could be short from Marianna and the rest of names sound Polish.
