my name is john lester, however my great grandfathers were joseph leszcak and felix lagowski. it is like our family history is lost. i dont even know why our last name was changed. does anyone out there know the leszcak family?

Jlester. Somewhere I had seen a person who also use the surname Lester, but
his real name is also... Leszczak

There are LESZCZAK in the cities of Poznań - Wrocław - Bytom - USA, Norway...

Hi. I'm new to this forum and found this post. My mother's maiden name is Leszczak. I have an uncle Adam Leszczak who lives in Connecticut (my mom's brother). They came from (let me see if I can get the spelling correct) Gwodzianka in Rzezow (I know that's wrong). I went to Poland when I was a senior in high school and visited my mom's side of the family but that was YEARS ago.

Sorry, I wanted to post under my user name. For some reason the previous post went in as Guest. Anyway, Leszczak is on my mom's side of the family.
