Zamieszkują oni w 7 różnych powiatach i miastach. Najwięcej zameldowanych jest w Leżajsk ,a dokładnie 11.
Dalsze powiaty/miasta ze szczególnie dużą liczbą osób o tym nazwisku Wrocław (10), Szczecin (6), Skierniewice (5), £ódź (4), Świdnik (2) i Jawor z liczbą wpisów 1.

Cieryt possibly from ciert (peasant dialectic for czart /devil/) or toponymic from Cierchy i Świętokrzyskie Mt area

Czyrytowski -- from onomatopoeic czyrytać (to chirp): czyryt-czyryt = chirp-chirp

According to moi krewni there are only 39 Cieryt's in Poland today as follows;-

11 in Lezajk (Lower Silesia)
10 Wroclaw
6 Szczecin
5 Skierniewice (near Lodz)
4 Lodz
2 Swidnik (Near Lublin)
1 Jawor (Lower Silesia)

Luchow Gorny(near Rzeszow)
