I'm looking for an Andrew Kobak. He lives in Poland, then goes to the U.S.A. If anyone knows something about him, please e-mail me: igorlav@gmail
Hi was born mightly beetwen 1865-1870 years. He gone in the USA or Argentina. He has 5 children: Boris Kobak, Mikhail Kobak, Vasiliy Kobak, Ann Kobak and Vera Kobak, his wife's name Efrosinya Kobak. He lives in Poland or in Ukrane, near the Poland.
Which city? I didn't no.
Or tell me please some data bases, where I can find information about him.
His children's names sound more Russian than Polish/Ukrainian. The last name sounds Polish, though. Was his wife Russian?
My great-grandfather's first name was Vasyl/Wasyl (pronounced the same as VAH-sil) - both are the Ukrainian form of Basil. Bazyli is the Polish form. I believe Ivan the Terrible's father was named Vasiliy, so it might be the Russian form.
