Does anyone have any knowledge of Karasienski/Karasinski heritage? Believe ancestors may have immigrated from Galicia or Silesia. Great, great grandparents - possibly the marriage of Frank Karasinski and Anna Bartnucka.. Researching for family reunion.

No, I am sorry to say I do not have any addresses. The Karasinski's children were - Joseph, Albert, Agnes, John, Frances, Mary, Anthony, Ignace, Antonina, August. We do know that Albert, Frances, John and Antonia did immigrate to America. We believe that Albert arrived sometime in 1905 and Antonia perhaps in 1902-1905. They eventually setted in Detroit, Michigan. Frances and John settled in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. We do not know if any of the other siblings immigrated to America.

There was a Karasinsky family, with the patriarch being a John Edward Karasinsky, born 1879 in Poland, living in Pittsburgh, PA at one time. His wife was Antoinette (unknown), also born in Poland. His youngest daughter was a Laura Karasinsky, born in 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA. Some of his other children were Anna, Edward J or F, Emma and Henry.

Some of the Karasinski ancestors did settle in the Pittsburgh, PA. area. The spelling of the last name is Karasinski not with "y" at the end of the name.
