My family came to Australia about 35 years ago, since then only my sister, mother and grandmother are the direct family that are left. apart from distant cousins and uncles.

Doing searches for the name Drozdek is hopeless, i cant find anywhere with information about it or its meaning.
My grandmother was born in yugoslavia while ww2 was still going on but i know that her parents were from poland.
Is there anything anyone can tell me?

Hi! :) In Russian "drozd" means "thrush", "ousel" or in AE "catbird". The last name "Drozdov" is pretty popular in Russia. I don't know for sure, but it might be the same in Polish.

Your grandmother's birth record and/or baptismal record may have her parents' birth town information. Also check Australian records for the information.
