looking for annowal in wolyn

looking for information on the town of annowal where my mother came from. I cant find it on the map, planing a trip there with my uncle. anyone have information, or steer my in the right direction I know ite east of kostopol. Family was taken from there in 1943 to work as farm laborers. Last name Szczepaniak

The best place to look is either google or yahoo.

search: kostopil ... There is an airport listed here.
also search: Rivne

wikipedia has info

You also need an exact address for your mother, a modern map and an old map.

You have to double check everything. You never know what is still standing. Google Earth might be of use too

yes thats where i got the information about the airport. my uncle was 9 when taken so he has vague memories, and my mother is dead. any one from that area who could be a guide?
