My ancestors named Blankinsee were originally from Prussia, but when they moved to
England in the 1800s, there seems to be no records of them in England. They were
Polish Jews, so there could have been another spelling of their name in England as
Blanckensce or Blankensee. Tried all the different spelling of their name, but no result. The Blankensee family settled firstly in Bristol then moved to Birmingham where the family
manufactured jewellery and watches. They finally moved to the United States and settled
in Augusta, GA. Would love to have ancestry from Prussia in the 1790s.
