As some of you may well know i dont like living here but Polish food is the one real highlights for me.

Come on knock a dish and I'll argue it no matter what, with the exception of Flaki that really does suck.

Meat = good
Potatoes = good
Cabbage = good

whats not to dislike?

Flaki rock! If they are home made that is, cause the store bought ones are nasty.

flaki are awesome, i agree.

polish foods have too much onion in it, for the most part. i hate uncooked onions. everything else i can handle nowadays. wasn't a bit fan of sledź for the longest time, same with tartar.

Maybe I'm missing sth here but isn't flaki known as tripe to us? Flaki rock and flaki are awesome would suggest that flaki is plural. In English, tripe is tripe and not tripes.

Is this like pieniądze są but, in English, money is (not are)?

Anyone, I love Polish food. It's not the best in the world I've tasted but it's up there. Not much to beat it in winter :)
