Help to recreate a meal we had in Poland

Having just returned from 3 weeks in Lodz visinting my boyfriends family i want to recreate a meal we had.

It was something like lamb i think and was called shamone??

Anyone know of this and how to cook it??

It was strips of meat in thin pieces, quite dry kind of like the taste of doner kebab..

szaszłyk is a Polish shish kebab. made with Lamb & shallots..whatever else you want to toss on there.

that is the only one I can think of.

I thinks it's Szchab, but maybe made with Lamb instead.
