Cześć! Last night i made some Kluski z kartofle- i believe this means noodles with potatoes, right? if not, correct me. :D thats what i think my grandma called them. anyway here are some pics :D

Quite close. Potato Dumplings would be a good translation. Very tasty!

Yes it would but they are not potato dumplings lol. yet those are good. this is seperate noodles and potatoes

Sounds a bit like Schupfnudeln. More German than Polish.
