I believe that all of the ingredients were mixed together and the crust formed in the pan on its own. I know that there was grated lemon rind as well.It is similar to the recipes that I've seen for sernik, but the crust was more like a cake and not a crust, and the cheese was smoother. She did not put potatoes in the recipe.Please help, she did not write this one down and it went to her grave with her. My sister and I are left to try other recipes and cannot find one that is the same.Thank you to anyone that can help us out.
