you have to ask for "jajka w szklance" /eggs in a glass/cup?/ this is a only way you will get poached eggs in Poland

I had poached eggs often in Poland before I came to US about 30 years ago.

It took me ages to find a decent poaching pan - which also now doubles up for making a spanish omelette :).. boil or poached is all I eat...I have to be quite frank here, I had scrambled eggs in poland a couple of times and they were awful - swimming in butter and not very fluffy!

Usually too runny for my liking. I had a version in Germany once, where they supposedly put flour in them??? They were ok.

I use skim milk and whip them to make them light and fluffy.. plus I like green pepper
and diced potatoes and onion in them to make like a morning hash, its very delicious
and my hubby loves it.

I like my fried eggs over easy.
I only ever have ketchup with eggs if they are scrambled - which I had in Sopot and they were not bad.

Used to drink jajka w szklance, when I was on a high protein phase.

Worst experience with an Egg ?
Someone told me that if you put a pin prick in the top of the shell and put it in the microwave it would boil.

Had to get myself new microwave after that.

I think the big mistake you made was not turn down the power level on the micro. It works when the eggs are done on " LOW " power like a 2-3 setting on the dial.

Eggs done in a microwave - WRONG!

fluffy.. plus I like green pepper
and diced potatoes and onion in them to make like a morning hash, its very delicious
and my hubby loves it.

Get a deep none stick pan (frying type of pan), par boil the potatoes, slice them and place them in the bottom of the pan mix the peppers and lightly fried onion with the egg and poor over and cook it slow and finish under a low grill, let it cool and there you have my version of a spanish omlette :D yum yum pigs bum :D

I like mine scambled, hard boiled, sometimes fried. I like scrambled with three whites per one yolk. Devilled eggs are good. Pasteurized egg whites are great in fruit juice smoothies.

Did you mention devilled eggs ???? the best way to eat them is when you have some beer to make them go down easy. It's the only way to enjoy them.

Poaches eggs are "easily" the best way to eat eggs, the others do not really compare...

Polish name for this dish would be probably "jajka w koszulkach", but I guess it's not very popular here. I've eaten one once or twice, and consider it to be nothing special; had a "watery" taste. I guess it's easier to make soft boiled eggs.

And fry eggs are quite popular, often served with fried potatoes, as mid-day dish. Oh, and you should try kogel-mogel, raw egg yolks mixed with sugar (and little add-ons, like few drops of vodka or fresh lemon juice).

Related: Where to buy egg whites in Kraków

Hi. Anybody knows where could I buy big bottles of egg whites in Kraków?

they don't have that here. rightfully so- chemical crap. buy eggs and separate the whites yourself.
