Right, so it's wages day tomorrow...and, as we all know, the day before is always a struggle. So I am rather peckish and heading round to Kefirek in about 20 mins...any reccommendations for good things to buy for 19pln that will keep me full up all night?

By the way I am not looking for anything particularly polish, or healthy, or anything other than filling (and hopefully tasty) and cheap.

Go for it!

I didn't know, that's why I was throwing out some random numbers.

What would someone expect to eat for a 20zl budget? modest sandwiches, well cooked meals, etc etc?

For 20pln you can eat quite a bit in a bar Mleczny...but i don't know where my nearest one is.

So I went to Tesco, got some bread, TVL light spread, TVL Cheese, some meat selection that was cheap and a 1kg TVL pizza...all for the modest 16pln. Oh, and some fish fingers.

Not the best in quality or health...but it will keep me fed for the next 9 hours or so before i fall asleep.

A gigantic zapiekanka can cost you only 6PLN. Huge bread rolls here are 50 or 60gr. Throw some cheese on and you have a cheap meal.

Yeah, you can pick up a decent budget pizza too.

Well it's difficult because you have to multiply that by say 7 and then go to the supermarket and spend the money but for that you can have noodles, sausages, rice, chicken, crisps, vegetables, ect ect the list goes on.

I think even 20zl is alot the more I think about it.

In answer to your question I think cold breakfast a small hot lunch and then a cooked dinner is possible for this budget.

All this is dependant on yourself of course!
