I noticed my Polish post was deleted by the Forum Administrator.
Are the Poles trying to practice their English, or what's the reason for such arbitrariness?

theres a fairly lax forum rule not to post in polish... for which i am sure there is a very good reason that noone has seen fit to share with me...

definately not something to take personally... :)

Have understood. In casual agreement insofar as it's clear that Poles post in English rather than in Polish in order to practice their second-language skills.

Politeness to others may be a factor as well.

Up till now, it seems that most know general English at least as well as I know Polish.

Hi Marek,

This site is frequented mostly by Poles living abroad, Poles from Poland who know English (there are millions of them), and foreigners interested in Poland. Since a lot of users here (probably close to half) don't understand Polish at all, we don't allow to write in Polish (unless it's a translation or Polish language explanation).
