Well i thought i would do this one for them and not us for a change.

I have found ADMIN to be very helpful of late, as i have had difficulties with pics and Avatars as such, with out there help and others, i must admit i would be lost.

So well done Admin and thanx for your much needed help.

Wolfie.......good to hear!

But, I would on occasions welcome admin stepping in to ....how shall I say tone down or "control" some posters...perhaps delete some posts or even suspend certain posters...I know its hard to control everything....but its worth doing!

The "Why" thread was left to let some users "let it go". If we delete one post, another one pops up so we feel it's better to leave one there . :)

Ok, but posters who are very provocative, rude, disruptive, racist etc..............your thoughts?

Yeah ive got to agree with Frank here...

Some people on here should i think have three warnings when it comes to pure hatred and racist abuse, we say somethings in fun and somethings are serious, but in that, where does hate come into it for another nationality. I would imagine you at Admin know who we are and what we give on here, and those that cause upset to others, i think the racist remarks could do with looking at.

Whats your thoughts Admin on this..

He's like God.
We make our posts, sometimes silly, sometimes serious and he sits there and reads through all our nonsense, controls and eliminates the bad ones.

// pls stop it - nobody not be compared to God //

Well, fortunately only a few posts are worth eliminating - it's not that bad at all :).

Yeah but they do a great job, where would we be without them.

Question for Admin:

Are there others that do your job as in a shift rota. You must have a laugh at us sometimes, thinking were all from a mental hospital........pmsl

ok..agree...not easy..etc.....what about instead of them policing ALL the posts, how about having a "report a post" button on each post...so we can do the policing for them....?...

a "report a post" button on each post...

Frank ...the best idea so far...........go to the top of the class.

I think admin's an easy going fellow. :) I know I can be a bit rude sometimes, but I don't really mean to be..

anyway, he lets the good guys have a go at certain abusive posters. and sometimes we all have to vent.. - I like to vent a little myself - always apologise when I'm wrong though - so thank you for letting me be me. (same goes for others.)

really appreciate what he does for certain forumees too. it's all about the little gestures. :)

so I believe a :) is well deserved here. :)

can I ask you why this is your opinion? ofcourse you may have your opinion, but you aren't exactly helping anyone if you don't mention a reason as to why you think he's too soft?

I'm only a newbie here although I was a regular on another Polish themed forum. Sadly I felt I had to leave as the forum had become a sounding board for non-Poles to focus attention on EVERYTHING negative about life in Poland.

I've seen at first hand how a forum can lose it's integrity if too many radicalised members are allowed to express their prejudiced opinions on a regular basis.

What I like about this board is that it seems there are enough sensible members who almost self regulate the board to a certain extent. Judging by Admin's comments above it seems he/she also regulates anything that is seen to be too offensive which is even better.

Hear hear Spiritus........:)

The other forum at times turns into a verbal blood bath.....tough to wade through all the negative/personal stuff just to get real opinions and or facts, stories, history about Poland, its people and everyday life.

Yes, currently there are two persons with the status of moderator (but there's one with the status of Admin :). Sometimes it's hard to read carefully all responses - using the Checker tool makes the life easier though.

Well, yes. But on the other hand it's hard to satisfy everyone - so we try to go by the "80-20 rule."

Admin do you think if one official from the Polish Govt was to say........ look at some of our threads on here, maybe it could help them see what the Polish people want from them, as in reality, their working for the Polish people. But as we all no to well, its power and the little people get left behind, but we have a voice, and maybe instead of whispering, its time to shout for our rights.

Hell listen to me.......behave wolfie.

Yes, I agree... Admin

ADMIN... Just noticed two stars next to my member profile, whats that mean. Krysia has three, Fisz has one. Curious
