wow.so easy! :) sorry i am not a computer man.

another question.
this forums adress is stored in a folder "cookies".can i delete it (the adress).would it not mess up the system?

Yes, you can safely delete cookies -- go to Tools/Internet Options and find section regarding cookies. When you delete them you'll have to login again to any webpage that uses them (not only to this website), but it shouldn't be a big deal.

Yes! OH Please! My kidlet was kind enough to find the smiley's and add a bunch after one of Clunkshift's posts, Kind of P!55ed him off, and me too! Make it so it's easy to find.

OK, I updated the image (post #3 above) that shows how to log out. It takes 2 steps instead of 1.

Keeping the logout link in the Settings allows users to check (at least from time to time) the features they can use as registered members. Also, most users use their computers at home so logging in/out every time they go to the site doesn't make it easier for them.

Admin,

OK. I just thought that it might be one or two clicks quicker, that's all.

Yes, in this part it would be quicker - but on the other hand logging in takes more time (plus remembering the password :). Admin

You're not.

Think of it as a TV set:

The ON button is at the front, the OFF in behind.
