Poland's ZUS-office visit for self-employed really that easy?

Hi guys,
I am a German citizen and registered my business, got NIP and REGON, and as I'm told I have to go to ZUS now.

- does it matter which branch I'm going to? (Warsaw center is closer than 'my' Praga South branch)
- is it really as easy as I always read? I don't speak Polish and need to register for the reduced rate
- Are passport, NIP and REGON number enough for the registration?

It's not that difficult to contact ZUS at the moment comparing to old times. You can even try to do it by internet if you have eSignature.

Their website has German tutorial there:
zus.pl/files/45_13%20PUE%20-%20wer%20niem.pdf

To register self-employment no matter which branch.

You need to have the Pesel number to register your business in Poland- check this site - it may help you to go through the whole process: foreigners in poland com/start-business-poland/

Not anymore. As of 1st March, the foreigners ID/passport number may be used instead.

Not anymore.

OK, so the info provided on that site is outdated. Thanks for clarifying that.
