I am a Nigerian, planning to relocate with my husband to Poland for better opportunity. I studied Mass Communications as my first degree and i have experience in Public Relations Practice. Is there a chance of getting a good job in Poland? I speak English well and a little of French.

Unless you speak Polish extremely fluently you have almost no chance of finding work in your field.

Is your husband Polish?

Stick to the big cities Warsaw, Wroclaw, Poznan, Gdansk and last Krakow. It will be easier for you to find employ. If neither of you are Polish, its going to be very tough. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

To be honest i wouldnt move poland if i was black (no offense) from my experince they can be very racist!
But if you feel like a strong woman, go for it nothing but respect from here.

yeh really I met some who think it's OK to shout 'kunta kinte' every time they see a brown face. If I were black I would go somewhere more....cosmopolitan.

It's bad enuff going to Poland and being stared at cos you are speaking a different language, as though you are from mars or somewhere.

And it's not even friendly curiousity, it's downright rude and mocking.
