@delphiandomine
You think its an insult, but in reality i wish that was the case!

No no, im the "have a great job back home but lets move to Poland to live together with some pretty blonde"-type. Much more stupid indeed.

My Polish is actually not bad. I wasnt discussing my personal Polish, but the experience i had with it.

A salary as suggested in your post i've luckily never had to settle for. I cannot imagine surviving on that.

Real "Poles" are also a lot friendlier than this Forum suggests. I'll be back there very regularly and surely wont sell my house! Who knows i might move back there some day.

Its mostly expats on this forum that pump out all the misinformation.

Nonetheless, the majority of poles dont speak English.

But Rich once (last year) said that all Poles he spoke to during his latest trip to Poland were proficient in English. He was clearly impressed.

Of course, true friendliness is only possible in face to face contact. In a forum, real Poles prefer to remain cold and indifferent.

As they tend to be in real life also, until they get to know you....

Do they always change from cold and indifferent into warm and friendly? I suppose not. If I met and got to know a maniacal rightist or sick fascist, I would still remain cold and indifferent. Those people are unpredictable and thus completely untrustworthy. .

Sadly for you, most Poles I know in The UK are pretty Right Wing.
I have met a few lefty Poles but they didn't last long here and soon ran back to Poland.
The Right Wingers have a work ethic and want to achieve something with their lives.
The Left Wingers are lazy dossers.

If you play football, Ekstraklasa clubs are hiring. High wages, zero expectations for success - great job! :)
