It would appear that Holocaust studies, particularly in the light of flagrant denial of same, here on PF as elsewhere, should be mandatory every place, not only or even mostly, in Poland.

You know nothing about how much history of ww2 is in Polish schools' curriculum. If you did - you wouldn't be writing such nonsense. My knowledge of Holocaust is way WAY better than average person who went to any school in Canada, and that includes people of Jewish descent. They have more emotional attachment to it but not much historical knowledge whatsoever. Every time I have a chance to talk to a Jewish person I'm amazed how little they know so maybe they should start educate themselves first.

I must disappoint you, Bzibzioh! I know plenty about the Holocaust, but am especially sensitive to any hint of revisionalism or denial.

While most Americans, particularly non-Jews, are indeed woefully ignorant about such things, I'm the exception to this in almost every way you can think of; I can read the source documents in Polish, German, Dutch and even some Russian.
