Wow, what a warm and engaged community.

Tommy, good to hear you weren't spooled by this crowd but moved in and settled down to make it work. Please keep posting your impressiuons and the things you find that work as well as the things you thought would but don't.

YOU made the thread interesting with your attitude and determination in the face of some of the half-witted responses.

Actually, don't joke about that! Have you ever heard a Polish teacher try to teach English?
Those that learnt American English.... omfg! It's not funny. They should sue their teachers...
Imagine if I was teaching Polish in England, except I'd learnt Czech and tried to pass that on as Polish....
If you can understand that then you'll realise why the poster posted that comment...

Ah, I see how it goes. Despite passing mentions from a couple of other Americans, I didn't realize the playground was setup that way here.

Thanks for the lesson, I'll keep that close to the top of my list of things to watch out for in Poland.

The irony continues on.
