Work in academia in Poland?

I've noticed that many Central, Eastern and Southern European economies unfortunately offer mostly jobs in BPO, outsorcing, call centers, Accounting review, Procurement analyst etc. boring, soul-sucking clerical jobs. Most other possibilities are either in the services, sales (again mostly call centers if you don't know the local language yet), tourism, and of course IT.

But my degree is in the humanities, a Bachelor in Communication Science degree from Western Europe and a Business administration one after that. I hated allmy jobs at big corporations using SAP, processing reports, doing Accounting etc. I am very good at writing and researching, especially qualitative research (not really good with numbers). I'm thinking that maybe it's not the jobs themselves being bad, but me not chosing the right jobs based on my talents.

I like Poland, but I'd like to know whether administrators at colleges, universities and researchers there are not very well paid, like in fellow non-Western European countries? Are there any Polish scholars that have migrated to Germany in search for a job?

Check out the electronic message board of any ranking German university and perhaps it will list what you're looking for.
