I see that my thread about shortage of nurses and doctors in Poland disappeared for some reason, so I'll have to post it here:

According to The Polish Chamber of Nurses and Midwives Polish nurses on average die 20 years earlier than other Polish women. That's shocking considering that Polish men live "only" 7 years shorter than Polish women.

Btw, my grandma has three daughters and the youngest of my aunts is a nurse. She's also the only one who had a heart attack so far (it happened when she was working at the COVID-19 ward).
