I want is a strong president, a patriot who will help his own people before he'll send any money abroad.

How about we start with a one year moratorium on all international aid?

Get it started TZ, you got my signature and just about anyone's I know too.
I'm serious about it.

Help for Africa, Haiti and all kinds of others but where's the help for our people?

Curious? Does it include the aid to Israel? or everything but?

Yes Marek, it includes all countries. I personally don't see Israel as my friend. My friend is my country and my people, that's it.

Oh, I just see you are not Marek. Sorry about that but you guys are posting very similar stuff and that's why I made this mistake.

The question still stands, what is your country?

ending aid to Israel is like having commit political suicide just ask papa Bush, he tried it.
the best help American can get is to bring jobs back, end nafta, cafta and dealing with china, but do the banks and corporations will allowed I am afraid not. So if you know polish history it is about repeat in America this country will fail but will we be living in police state or fascism as merger of gov. and corporations is taking place in accelerating speed.

we have totally different political views Marek11111 and that's why I suggest, we'll go back to the topic. I asked you before, are you surprised that the numbers are still pretty positive for the Americans?

no not surprise at all American people are good people they are self center but over all good meaning, but did not ask the people that u.s. is murdering now and wait till imf is done with bailouts for piigs then ask them what they think about u.s. policies.

American people are good people

thanks

they are self center

so so, some are and some are not.

but did not ask the people that u.s. is murdering now and wait till imf is done with bailouts for piigs then ask them what they think about u.s. policies.

I hope, you won't be surprised that I have a different opinion here. I won't ask anyone as you also won't ask anyone who died in the war on terror. Case closed Marek11111.

Call me a racist if you want but I still don't care about the Muslims. I don't want to even discuss about it Marek11111 and if at all then not in this thread.

You can say the same about Polish, Russian, English people, etc. So what's your point?

Most of Americans I know escape to Caribbean for vacations. Over 5000 islands to explore and natives are used to dealing with pirates.

We travel all over the place. I have met more Americans on my travels than anyone else. I'm not talking about the roads well traveled, but WAY off the beaten path. You'll find an American or interestingly enough a Swiss person. Border of Russia and Mongolia....Swiss guy, American woman. Samarqand, yup, Americans. Addis Ababa, you guessed it, Americans. Roadside cafe outside of Damascus..I'll save you the trouble, they were from Austin... Hostel in Northern Liberia...don't need to even say it. We might not have many passports as a percentage of the population, but Americans seem to make way better use of them than most other nationalities when it comes to going the distance.

We travel all over the place.

hey, just wonder why you guys changed the name and with it the character of my thread?
It wasn't really meant to be about traveling but more about the sympathy level toward Americans abroad.

Don't know, ask the admin. Regarding sympathy towards Americans, I have never had any problems. Maybe I'm just lucky, maybe some people are unlucky...naw, I don't believe either of those.

Off to bed...

I asked you because it could be that you as a mod, know something about it.

I have never had any problems

I never had any major problems either. I created this thread (or what it used to be when it first started) only to show that the statistics don't necessarily confirm the anti-American sentiment as it is on PF.

And definitely not in Poland, Americans are very liked there, no matter what the people on this forum claim.

Yeah, what the hell is with the name change? It doesn't fit this thread at all now. WTF? They need to quit needlessly meddling...

The problem is that they don't even feel like informing me about the reasons why they changed it. I couldn't find my thread earlier and that's how I found out about it.

It wouldn't be a big deal if the name change wouldn't change the character of my thread.

I just don't see the reasoning behind the new name or the reason for changing it. It just doesn't fit the thread now. The original was fine and more fitting.

yep, hey guesswho, I don't like your thread, I prefer it the way it is now, deal with it. (lol)

Where in the World Is the Welcome Mat Still Out? what's wrong with this title?

This title was not concrete enough. Say what you mean in simple words, no guessing. If the discussion will be about the title the messages will have to be removed.

There was no guessing at all. Everyone was responding according to the topic. You changed the whole sense of my thread.

Help for Africa, Haiti and all kinds of others but where's the help for our people?

we need to help ourselves now, just like the bankers.

I was thinking.. if Goldman-Sachs can get all that bailout money after it's deriviatives heist, fanny mae, whoever was doing all that whatever.. bank of america whoever.. and no one but no one gets prosecuted...

well shucks, shouldn't my turn be next? bank robbery and lots of other white collar crime is obviously no longer illegal. I'm not sure when the law was changed but it has changed, it's there for all to see, right?' You can now rob banks based on the precedents set by our leaders in government.

go for it, everyone, get your share before they beat you to it.

we need a run on the banks day, we all run to the banks with little notes that say, 'hand me all your money'. we all do this on on pre-set day. There is only one rule, do not use a gun, because that could cause a life threatening injury. pretend to carry a gun, even point it at people's heads if you like. if anyone makes any trouble just tell them you work for government. You do work for the government as a taxpayer so that is not a lie or even a little white lie.

If you dress in a real nice suit or skirt and suit jacket, you will pull this off without a hitch.

power to the people.

Latin americas are less likely to have positive view of America for the obvious reasons, they are like Germans and Poles. They have historical, cultural and inherent distrust of the US as a result of US foreign policy, corporate abuses, and US immigration Policy (99.99% of Latin Americans have no chance of travelling to the US except illegally via Mexico), and lately populist politicians and economic hardships.

Much like Polish, Russians, Arabs etc blame Germans and Jews for all the problems in their life, latinos always blame Americans for the economic collapse in Argentina, Mexico and Brazil despite the fact that it was their bad economic policy which caused the bankruptcy of many latin american countries. Their politicians are corrupt to the core but most of the population are stupid hence they are easily misled and blame US for everything, including their poverty, ugliness.

Everyday they see on TV soaps about life in America, they wish to go there but they cant get visa, which made them angry. They tried to go through Mexico which forced them to risk their life, which in turn made them angrier. After a long and difficult journey, they arrived there and life ain't all that rosy and they have to work menial jobs making less than $ 5 per hr doing unwanted jobs by Americans, which made them mad. Criticising and bashing America is the national sport for most of these countries' politicians.

Amazing fact is countries that have negative views of Americans or America are more likely to have high illegal migration to the US LOL! Oh the irony!

That's why I love traveling on Polish passport. It confuses the a$$holes that equate the government with its people.

Of all the places to go, Mexico, the Caribbean community and Canada are visited to most, due to proximity.

Well the topic certainly isn't about: "Which countries are Americans usually traveling to?"What retard picked that thread title? This change was the result of sloppy, lazy and petty moderating, just admit it.
