Merged: Polish American Elvis needs to find some Polish festivals in US to sing at.
Hey forum if you have a chance could you kindly listen to my song "Don't Be Cruel" at myspace.com/kingkruk
and if any of you know of Polish festivals etc. I could sing at I would love to know I will travel to entertain people who love Poland and Elvis or one or the other.
How about Taste of Polonia in Chicago? I'm not sure of the date, but the event takes place over the Labor Day weekend. BTW, I listened to your songs, pretty impressive...
Look up Pope Jon Paul II Polish Church in Yorba Linda, CA. They have their harvest festival during the 3rd wknd in September.
Our Lady of the Bright Mount Polish Church in Los Angeles, CA has their annual bazzar, during the last wknd in September. My family has been attending the festival since before I was born.
Here are some really good pictures of Legs Inn Inside, outside and some of the Polish food they serve. And some of the waitresses are from Poland for the summer working there . Fun to listen to them speaking Polish with the local Polish people.
Actually Legs Inn is about 25 miles North of Petoskey. I live around Torch Lake which is 50 miles South of Petoskey.
This weekend is the Boyne Falls Polish Festival which is about 30 miles Northeast of Torch Lake. The Polka (beer) tent on Friday and Saturday night gets a tad rowdy and very loud with non-stop dancing. Then Sunday afternoon is the Mud Run that is the highlight with 4-wheel drive vehicles pushing it to the limits thru 3 feet deep mud bogs. It is a Redneck thing where we sit and drink beer and watch egotistical idiots destroy their vehicles trying to win a $25 trophy for bragging rights. Video of it in the link.

Legs are not only beautiful but exciting in many other ways. You are in another world when inside actually the little museum, a tribute to a man's resourcefulness. Family adherence to Polish traditions, food, music, and costumes. You genuinely experience Podcarpacki, Poland, from the beginning of the twentieth-century era. Polish language is everywhere, owners are fluent in Polish, and are accessible. Interesting were the beginnings. The original owner escaped, too busy Chicago, and decided to live among Indians. To make the long story shorter, he was accepted as the blood brother, not only a brother but a chief. Family remembers the friendship; jobs are available to Indians even today. As for Torch Lake, don't be bashful, Johnny. It is a unique gem on the world scale, with unsurpassed beauty, and was once rated the most beautiful lake in the world.
This Polish Festival will be hopping this week-end with the good weather. This is one of very few Polka Festivals left in the United States. The Cedar Polish Festival
