Its really quiet simply, revoke found himself a Polish girl. Fell in love, and then she broke his heart. Thank god the internet was not around when all the Irish went to New York and built the place, became police and took the highest office in the land.

Next on the irish list is Aus, then maybe Canada.

By the way, reckon he won't go to Poland during Euro's to support our boys because he doesn't want to spend money in Poland.

Do you think it is financially prudent for a bankrupt country to subsidise foreign moochers, to the extent that they can jet off to the continent?

What percentage of the budget to these so called moochers represent? I am sure just a fraction of what the bankers stole. You're probably counting pennies while the bankers walk off with the pounds.

Theres another.

Krzsztof Ozimkowski, Tucker Street, Castlebar, pleaded guilty to four counts of the fraud which saw a total of €1,599.40 being paid out to him fraudulently at Knock post office. Sgt Eric Godfrey told the court that he arrested Ozimkowski at Knock Post Office on March 5 at 10.15am following a surveillance operation after the suspicions of the social welfare inspector had been raised in the weeks previously.

Accession state nationals are 700% more inclined to commit welfare fraud compared to their indigenous counterparts. Thats a fact.

Ask yourself how one specific nationality sent home circa 2 billion euro in three year period, when most of them were on below the average industrial wage.

2,000,000,000.

A nice chunk of change. Il make it a bit more simplified, just cause you are a bog wog. Its 400 million pints of Guinness and cheese and onion "taytos" down your local shebeen.

There were roughly 250,000 Poles in Ireland at the peak. That roughly equates to €2,500 per person per year sent back on the total you quote. Many Poles came to Ireland to earn money to send back in order to buy a house etc. They lived frugally and saved. The Min wage was €365 per week, with virtually no tax on that (before all the tax changes of the past few years). That meant they earned over €18,000 nett per year. Rent maybe €4,000, shopping in Lidl for the week maybe €5,000 PA. They don't go to pubs, eat out, they spent their holidays in Poland. Most I know didn't have cars. So really why would it be out of the question to save €2,500 per year on that basis?

Is this not the exact same tripe said about Irish emigrants. How many Irish was fed and educated by money sent home by relatives in the UK, US, Oz etc.

How much did they send back to Ireland?

How much did they send back to Ireland?

I think the anger is stemming from the fact that they are staying in Ireland on its more than generous social welfare system, rather than returning to the grim reality of their own country. This kind of situation is arising in many countries atm and Poles are the main target of most of the resentment. In relation to Ireland there are Irish families abusing the dole for generation,it wouldn't surprise me if Revoke is one of these bums.

I guess somebody who is "in love" with bezrobocie has "nierówno pod sufitem".
This is an illness and a disaster firstly for young than for old and elderly people.
No, it's not a disaster.
It' a tragedy. It's drama. It requires help.
Don't expect from me to translate what is "drama", please.
Peple who write in topics like this need help.

Child benefit for Poles living here whilst their children have never set foot in the UK or Ireland is legal. This is the madness of our EU society. Overruled by the MEP's in Brussels and there ain't a dam thing we can do about it. Yet.!!!

24 Feb 2012 #149
That's not actually true Oxon. Trust me, as an Irish person emigrating in the autumn, and as someone who has paid tens of thousands in tax over the past ten years, I've looked into it.

There's very strict rules with regards paying out Child Welfare. It's gotten even stricter of late into the bargain.

You need to ask some eastern European who is receiving child benefit whilst their child is in Poland for advice badMonkey. As far as I was aware there was no problem attaining this. Maybe someone can enlighten me.

Are you saying that it doesn't work the other way around? i.e. you emigrating to another country from Ireland and being denied this benefit?
