What about the others... until 1983 women were supposed to cover their hair in a Catholic church. I've been to a fair number of churches and in warmer months the number of women covering their hair is essentially zero....

Well, the Church rules these days are getting more and more lax. The Eucharistic fast used to be 12 hours, then it was reduced to 3, and now it's 1 hour (which, taking into account the duration of the Mass, means simply "if you want to receive Communion, just don't eat on your way to church"). Ridiculous, if you ask me, but there it is.

My point was (before you decided to throw a hissy fit) was that while Christianity evolves pretty freely (a big part of its success) Islam... can't really. Neither the Koran nor Muhammed can be criticized (fex slavery is not and cannot be condemned because Muhammed had slaves) and there's only one way to interpret the Koran - as literally as possible.
This is why collectively muslims create low trust, low value societies that lag behind on most scales of human development.

And a large majority of Polish people want to keep it that way... (with some exceptions for culturally compatible countries).
So Brits don't mind lots of migrants who don't work (in anything legal) and who commit crimes at rates far exceeding those of the indigenous population.
Poles don't like that so maybe that's one reason why Poles don't belong in England.

Many have been welcomed (though not of course by anti-immigrationists). The only mismatch is the attitude some have towards community involvement and communitarianism, however the generation born and schooled there are generally a little less closed.
Hard to know what yet more discussion of immigration here is supposed to achieve. It will nether increase nor decrease levels, nor will it have any other effect on society.
