I don't like what some of the English people say online. In real life they're all very sweet and friendly but once I go online I suddenly see only: "DEY TERK ER JEEEEERBS!"

There are many accents in England

Hate them all.

Some look good, some look bad.

Most of them look like JAmes blunt.

Are you a dentist?

No, but I know they have ugly teeth.

Ever sunbathed?

Yes, and whenever I sunbath, I get brown skin, not red.

What, sandwiches are bad?

Fish and chips own. I accept it.

Covered all the regions in England, have you?

Not been In England I have.

-The teeth------- Get mine checked in Poland :)
-The smell------ Like Seanus said,, you must like toilets
-The red-white skin------- Unlike Poles we don,t like Blue Light Beds
-the food------- My miss like Curry now
-Them.------ Don,t come here then

I love the Welsh accent.

You are in a minority then (nothing against the Welsh btw)

The looks------- If your a male looking at the woman, I would have to agree

Really - I could say a lot of English men are minging and have to resort to dating naive Eastern European girls because they cant get anything half decent of their own nationality ;0) But I wont, because that would be just plain rude!

As to the rest of the Miguels comments...Yawn, I really cant take offence when a brown skinned person insults the English...Its actually quite amusing.

Some of their soldier documentaries on different online stations. They have no idea of the phony geopolitics and business that underpin decisions to go to war and yet they think they are heroes. They can bask in their glory all they wish but they are helping evil men obtain evil objectives. This I cannot condone!

I dislike the fact that they have taken George Orwell's writings as an instruction manual, rather than a warning.

The only thing about English is they need more dentists. I've seen some shows lately with English people (reality shows) and was impressed! One woman had glistening white teeth, better than Regis Philbin's. Maybe the trend is toward dentistry.

Every English person I ever saw on Public Television has bad teeth. My friend's English bf had flawless teeth because he inherited bulletproof enamel, but that was because of genetics, a rare fluke.

Yawn..the old "English have bad teeth" rant again!

You're right, people generally have bad teeth, which is why we run to the dentist and orthodontist and get them straightened, cleaned, crowned, you name it. Then, there's whitening so they look unnaturally gleamy.

The British seemed to be avoiding this trend but lately, I have seen improvements on various television shows with British reality actors.

People have teeth. How they look after them is entirely up to themselves. It's a media stereotype that Brits have bad teeth.

People can look after their own teeth without having to even go near a dentist six monthly, it's just about taking care of them. In the UK it can cost you a fortune for even a check-up, privately or through the NHS.

People who don't look after their teeth have bad teeth no matter where in the world they live.

It helps to go every six months to get the tartar scraped off. It is a matter of brushing and flossing, that's a big part of it, but cleaning is just as important.

It's true, there are people with uncared for teeth everywhere, including here, but for a while, all we saw of Britain were people with exceptionally bad teeth. We aren't used to seeing uncared for teeth on television, so the stereotype was born. Now, you see more British with exceptionally well cared for teeth, so, perhaps people's perceptions will change.

That's what I mean about media. They'll stereotype anyone in any way if it sells.

Hopefully perceptions will change because if they do it can only be for the good. :)

Absolutely everything. Unfortunately I am English. What an embarrassment. They are a mindless load of bullying loonies.

What I hate about the English is that they are generally incredibly tolerant (not saying they're not bigotted, but they do show remarkable TOLERANCE) and just lie back and let others criticise them.

Likewise, the leaders have a habit of expecting everyone to jump with glee at the idea of English superiority, without doing anything to maintain it.

Sports: Oh, we don't need investment, we'll win because we're English (like in 1966).

Education: Oh, everyone speaks English, so why bother learning another language (oops, got that wrong, that's the Scottish... see University of Glasgow).

Investment and research: Well, why bother updating it, it's as good as it was before...? of course people will always want English quality...

I think the majority of us are great.
I think we are quite lucky to live where we do, we don't really suffer from any natural disasters.
We are not suffering from mass poverty.

The teeth thing I really don't get, yes some people have nasty teeth but then this is the same for all countries.

The main downside is crime amongst the young in some parts of the country isn't good and heavier penalties need to be looked into to stop gun/knife crime.

Obviously the country isn't perfect, but what country is?

Do Blair or cameron count as "natural disasters'?

We are not suffering from mass poverty.

Condems are working on that one...

The teeth thing I really don't get

I think it comes from a time when only the rich could afford sugar, and so had rotten teeth, and the poor sold their teeth to the rich (really!).

The Police show respect to little tw ats with no idea of what the word means.
Been watching a show called Police Academy UK where officers from around the world came on secondment to British police forces, really eyeopening seein just how soft our bobbies have become. Even in my day (15 ish years back) as a youth you knew when to just shut the hell up,if a copper gave you "that look" you either shut up or spent the night in a cell. I always shut up lol :)

8. Feeling uncomfortable when people talk about their emotions

If when you was a child you was threatened with extreme violence for crying, I doubt there's an English person here who wasn't told by their mothers "if you don't stop crying I'll give you something to cry about" you would feel uncomfortable too. God, you'll be expecting us to talk about our sex lives next.

Ha! And there's the proof. It should take a year, max two. Unless you have bad teeth, that is :)

Actually it was about 2 years (I never really thought about it to be honest until now I had it fitted when I was about 12 years old!!) a mixtures of retainer and fixed and it was simply one tooth cross over at the front caused by too many teeth (The Brits seem to have smaller mouths that the Yanks!)...Who gives a fo+k my teeth are unaturally straight looking now....

I switch the channel whenever I see the coverage come on.

I didnt even put the TV on.

lots of American tourists, the Royal family bring lots of dollars into the UK. The Americans come over here and spend their dollars and we get an extra days holiday for the wedding,

So effectively Americans paid for the royal wedding :)

Why I dont like SOME English people.

They support USA, France, and Israel way too fast on foreign affairs.

USA, France, and Britain are the heart of NATO and I dislike NATO for multiple reasons.

They expect people to know English and make fun of foreigners who dont speak it.

English people and westerners tend to look down on Eastern Europeans so I return the favor mostly only when provoked. They complain about Poles invading the country.

I dont like English people who deny that Poles, Czechs, and other countries helped them in BoB.

Remember I said some and the same applies to people from other countries.

Britain/England is still a warmongering nation who loves to prey on the weak.

Ill say it again just insert some into the appropriate sentences.

Shakespear.

Because they make some really good beer.

Also, they make us use too many letters that confuses my spell checking. Like neighbour, labour, cheque, just to name a few.

Why I dont like SOME English people.

You will find there are English people who don't like other English for the same reasons as yours. The point on BoB is used to inflame.

Merged: Why are Brits treated as third class immigrants in Poland

I have seen British immigrants in Poland treated as third class citizens. Also all of my Polish friends dont have a good opinion about them.I wonder what could be the reason?

It is just because of all those barely literate low class drinking backpackers coming from UK and pretending to be "ESL teachers" for a couple of thousands of ZL. They give a very bad reputation to not only real teachers but also to decent British people.
